Using the Passsive Voice to describe processes

The Passive Voice is mainly used to describe how something is done and the focus is on the receiver instead of the performer of the action.Describe one of the processes suggested on page 82 of the grammar book or choose a different one.Remember to use passive sentences where you want to focus on the receiver.

Task 1 - Create a Public Service Announcement (PSA)

PSAs are short messages broadcast on TV or radio.Their purpose is to inform the public of important health and safety issues.
Decide on an issue and create a PSA that is "sticky" - it sticks in people's minds so they can remember it.If the message is sticky it can create change.

Suggested issues: water quality or water use, air quality,teenage smoking and drinking,Internet addiction,saving endangered species,clean environment.

Decide on the PSA campaign,number of speakers and who they are, an opening line(used to get the listener's attention, the problem and suggestions to solve the problem.

You can create it on paper, an audio or a video for it.And you can share it here or in class.
